My name is David; welcome to my homepage. Here, I occasionally post about video games, music, programming, photography, archery, chemistry and some other topics that I am interested in.

Having lived in Eindhoven my entire life, I started with the combined Bachelors of chemistry and chemical engineering where I graduated with a thesis on confined magnetite precipitation. After continuing with molecular systems and materials chemistry as my Masters, I did an internship in Graauw on the sub-ppm detection of PFAS in food and feed. As the final part of my Masters, I completed a thesis on organic photocatalysis which successfully resulted in a publication.

In 2022, I started with a PhD in material science, which I broke off after a year. Currently, I am occupied with reorienting myself in terms of ambitions, interests and locations.
